I realize this may seem like a slightly inflated score, but the wine deserves it. A Valpolicella based on Corvina without the Rondinella, it has beautiful fruit aromas and distinctive fresh flavors of cherries, red raspberries and even of ripe red grapes. It most closely reminds me of a fruity Beaujolais. Finally, it has racy acidity with mild hints of tannins.
