An excellent California Sauvignon Blanc, this shows the juicy, ripe melon character that distinguishes Golden State renditions from Sancerre or Marlborough, yet it also shows expressive grassy aromas and a very fresh acidic edge to counterbalance the fruit’s ripeness. Few wines made from this variety are equally delicious to sip by the glass or to pair with a cold platter of cold raw oysters, but this one can bridge that gap.
