Wines with long track records from stellar vintages are almost always worth your time effort and money to get hold of, and this vintage of Southing is no exception. Pure raspberry fruit pops first on the nose and drives through to the finish. Vanilla, fall spice, easy toast, a soft entry and an acidic burst at the end will make for a quickly emptied bottle.
