This is a blend of the top five red Bordeaux varieties, and it benefits by the inclusion of 17% Petit Sirah. The Petite Sirah puts both a tannic backbone and a dark fruit profile into the mix, and it works to great effect here. There is enough grip here to stand up to your most decadent beef recipes.
