This broad market Cabernet isn’t your run of the mill offering. A blend of estate fruit and other nearby sites including the famed Stagecoach vineyard, it was built to be understandable to a large swath of the wine drinking public, utilizing 55% new French oak and going to bottle earlier than the vineyard designate offerings to preserve fruit forward character. That said, there is plenty going here beyond the norm, with house style weight and density, a rich texture, and savory accents. This is very classy at its price point.
