Silverado, Napa Valley (California) Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

May 18, 2011

By Paul Lukacs

Very ripe and filled with sweet black fruit flavors, with impressive length, this wine feels soft and smooth on the palate.  Rich and ripe, its appeal comes from its forward fruit flavors, which are very tasty indeed.  At the same time, though, it lacks the sort of firm tannic structure that typically characterizes Cabernet Sauvignon at this price level.
