Though this region is far better known for Chenin Blanc, there are some fine Sauvignon Blancs that you should know about, particularly if your taste runs to the more austere side of the grape’s profile. Bracingly dry and stony, with easy yellow grapefruit and gooseberry fruit and a satisfyingly scouring finish make for a great summer refresher. Stock up now, or head south of the equator in search of the season.
