The Viognier grape does well in the Sierra Foothills, and it’s a treat to find a pleasing example at such a nice price. White peach, mild green tones and a little white pepper make for a tasty mix, and lively acidity keeps the pleasure coming. A nice cocktail or a pairing for roast chicken or seafood. A Double Gold Award winner at the 2020 Toast of the Coast International Wine Competition.
