Sonoma Pinot Noirs seem to be getting more assertive and less ethereal, which can be a good or bad thing or simply an interesting variation on a theme — depending on your preferences. This one is an enjoyable representative of the assertive category, showing vibrant ripe cherry fruit, moderate weight, lots of acidity, tannins lurking not too far in the background, and 14.3% alcohol.
