St. Clement Vineyards, Napa Valley (California) 2008

By Paul Lukacs

Delicious at first sip and seductively sexy on the bouquet, this wine lacks tannic structure and definition, so finishes on a somewhat empty note. That will not bother many wine drinkers, and for those who embrace this style of red wine, it surely merits a higher score. But for me, the lack of clear definition is something of a problem.
