Enticing aromas pull you in with notes of Bing cherries and raspberries front and center backed up by roses, sweet spice, a bit of cocoa and a subtle whiff of campfire smoke. The wine was aged for nine months in French and Hungarian barrels. Like all good Pinot Noir it pairs beautifully with mushrooms (try it with stuffed Portobellos for example). Los Carneros, one of California’s most esteemed viticultural zones, was first planted with grapes in the 1830s.
