Stickybeak, Napa County (California) Syrah 2008

Apr 13, 2011

By Paul Lukacs

Juicy, vivacious, and almost overflowing with cherry and sweet plum fruit flavors, this wine offers delicious near-term drinking.  It’s invitingly soft on the palate, with very pliant tannins, so probably will not improve with time in bottle.  But for summer sipping on porch or patio, particularly when supper comes from the grill, you can hardly do better.
