If you are still thinking that Paso Robles is all about huge, drink me now wines that have no structure or longevity, you need to give this wine a look. While huge certainly applies, there is a lot more going on than just brawn. Deep blackberry, cassis, well folded oak spice that will continue to integrate, fine grained tannins and the acidity that comes from the diurnal temperature swings that the region is gaining fame for all work toward majestic end product that, with other select wines from the region, herald world stage status. Bravo!
