Tenuta Casadei is a collaboration between Stefano Casadei, a Tuscan raised in the countryside and committed to organic farming, and Fred Cline, a Sonoma Valley wine entrepreneur. Their 100% Cabernet Franc wine is beautifully aromatic with a strong, well-defined structure. It opens with aromas of currants, mint, and pencil lead, leading into a rich palate of dark fruits layered with chocolate, coffee, and a touch of licorice. The wine is full-bodied and intense, offering a concentrated finish. While it has the potential to age gracefully for years, its structure and tension make it ideal for immediate enjoyment.
