This bright and energetic dark ruby red wine offers a smooth texture, soft tannins and bright fruit flavors. The grapes, which were grown in the region’s Monferrato Hills, were mostly hand harvested. The wine was macerated in stainless steel and aged in neutral containers. In 2017 the estate acquired new owners (the Gaglierdo family) who have modernized the cellar and updated the vineyard, which was originally planted between 1935 and 1950. “Rosina” makes an excellent accompaniment to red sauced pasta dishes. It is also excellent with roast pork, and with game, especially duck.
