Seldom do California Pinot Noirs need time to blossom (I can hear objections being raised), but this one definitely profits from pulling the cork early and drinking late. It has lovely fruit – lots of lush cherries that are smooth and lightly creamy, with some savory hints in the finish. But only after it’s given some time.
