This outstanding wine has the dark cherry red-blue color typical of Mencía. With its delicate floral overtones, vivid fruit flavors, hints of licorice and smoky overtones it’s a rewarding wine indeed. Fleshy, persistent and elegant, it has the sort of well-defined tannins that make it a terrific wine to serve with steak or lamb, or hearty dishes such as moussaka.
