Tasmania is Australia’s Southernmost wine region and is known for its Sparkling wines made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. As climate change impacts this cooler region, I anticipate winemakers will continue to produce more top quality still wines like Tolpuddle. Their Pinot Noir is light-bodied but packed with tart red fruit and an abundance of eucalyptus-like accents. It’s refreshing, stunning, powerful, and delicate in a glass.
