The MacPhail clan strikes again with a serious rosé that isn’t even the most serious one in their lineup. A curious combination of California Pinot Noir with a Bandol yeast strain makes for a dry, racy, herb, melon and tart cherry driven blend of aromas and flavors that come off as completely unique. Which would seem to be the point out in the ocean of pink wine. Why conform when you can stand out? Nicely done.
