Blending wizard James MacPhail works his magic once again in a 50/50 blend from two of his favorite sites. Pratt Sexton Road and Putnam do the dance as equal partners, with a portion of the Putnam fruit harvest a couple of weeks after the initial pick, no doubt to add some ripe fruit character to the cool climate structure. The result is a glass of wine that’s hard to put down as the cherry fruit and spice complexity hold the floor in a seemingly endless song. If you don’t know this brand, do yourself a favor and discover it before it becomes an allocation-only, former option. Bravo!
