This is one of Tor Kenward’s single clone bottlings from the Beckstoffer To Kalon vineyard. The wine is more aromatic than the Clone 4 bottling with a perfumed violet, wildflower, and milk chocolate note. The wine is intense and concentrated with blueberry, dark cherry, and sweet spice flavors. The alcohol is apparent, but the sweet fruit of the wine keeps the heat in check. The firm tannins offer a pleasant dryness to the finish. While the wine is delicious now, cellaring is recommended.
