It seems we are seeing ever more Cabernets from Argentina, particularly at the entry level prices that would make them competitive to similar wines from across the mountains in Chile. They tend to be well-made, as this one is, and enjoyable, if not necessarily exciting. But for the price, this Cabernet makes a very nice everyday red that is warm and generous with lightly spicy brambles and blackberry flavors and considerable tannins.
