One of this outstanding Merlot’s strengths is its luscious red fruits (“berry heaven” I wrote in my notes.) Although it’s a big, deep, dark wine it is also nimble and fresh. Satisfying notes of spice and a lingering whisper of vanilla on the finish add to the appeal.
