If you love pepper like I love pepper, you’ll love this Syrah. Black and white pepper mix in forward fashion on the nose, and are joined by soft black fruit on the palate. The pepper and fruit push together through the long finish that begs for a peppercorn sauce smothered steak, or, if you’re open to it, a fabulous fried chicken accompaniment.
