This is a big wine, and most Petite Sirah fans might say it’s not quite big enough. For me, it’s in just the right spot, with rich black and blue fruit, soft pepper and a little mace to add depth to everything. Its bright acid profile helps manage the ripeness level. It will make a fine pairing for lamb or very strong cheese.
