Two Messengers is a joint project of Patricia Green Cellars, iconic Oregon winemaker, and Mark Tarlov, who founded Evening Land Vineyards prior to his newest project, Chapter 24. The 2011 vintage is a blend from barrel selections of Patricia Green Pinot Noir. The experience of both Patricia Green and Tarlov shows in the rich, cola nut, soy, raspberry, currant, and cherry nose. Delicate herbs, mineral and smoky leaves contribute to a surprisingly intense palate considering the light, bright ruby color and relatively modest 12.5% alcohol. The wine packs flavor and elegance into a beautiful package.
