V. Sattui’s Bordeaux-style blend, Paradiso, is a superb example of the genre, especially as practiced in the Napa Valley. On the nose it exhibits classic aromas of cedar and graphite, followed by a layered palate of cassis and blackberry with an inviting note of oak vanillin. The tannins are firm, which bodes well for the future, and the finish shows impressive persistence.
