A delicious Zin is not terribly unusual, but one that is truly serious in a relatively dry, moderately ripe Claret style but still delicious is certainly not common. Meaty and pleasantly earthy as well as fruity, this shows layered aromas and flavors and loads of character and class. A real exemplar in this category. Platinum award winner at the San Diego International Wine Competition.
