While the vines grow in the Atacama Desert, the weather here is relatively cool thanks to the moderating presence of the nearby ocean. The 2019 hand harvested grapes were distinguished by very concentrated fresh fruit flavors, which show through in the wine. In part the healthy condition of the fruit at harvest was thanks to the fact that there was no rain in February during the harvest period (in fact, it has not rained here in 50 years). This is a beautiful wine to pair with just about any seafood or serve it with poultry or most vegetarian options.
