This is straight-up delicious Chardonnay produced from vines owned by the estate and grown on gravelly, red clay soils. The wine was fermented and aged on lees for 9 months in stainless steel tanks. Aromas emphasize the time on the lees with savory, toasty and sweet nut oils in the fore. Elegantly balanced, this wine would do wonders at the table with a range of dishes from roasted root veggies and poultry to braised meats. Alcohol by volume is 14%.
