Dolcetto is often called the Beaujolais of Piedmont because of its fruity nature and easy drinkability. And although the analogy is not perfect, there is some truth to it. This one is filled with succulent black fruit-like flavors and lip-smacking acidity. With tannins hardly noticeable, it’s delightful slightly chilled. What it lacks in complexity it makes up for with pure pleasure. Remember it when you’re throwing hamburgers on the grill.
