Hooray for this underappreciated variety as expressed here by winemaker Daniel Schuler-Jones. There’s a zesty quality to the fruit that plays perfectly against the herbal side of the varietal profile, brightening the cherry and keeping everything knit together beautifully from beginning to end. It’s not too early to consider this as an unexpected Thanksgiving dinner partner. Beautifully executed wine!
