Dark, dense, deeply-flavored and amazingly persistent on the palate, this wine manages to show all of those characteristics without coming off as overbearing due to fine balancing acidity and restrained oak. Pure and fresh, it shows intense blackberry and black currant fruit notes with outstanding freshness and purity. A striking wine, and an even more striking value.
