This comes from a new-to-me producer that hails from Holt, Missouri, and it serves to continue to solidify my view of the Midwest making a serious move toward quality. This Riesling may or may not be locally sourced, but it’s true to type all the way, delivering citrus, white flowers, bracing acidity and dry style. For Riesling lovers, which I proudly count myself among, this is a find from another corner of the planet that’s worth seeking out.
