Weingut Knoll is one of the top producers in Austria’s picturesque Wachau region. The Wachau is a UNESCO cultural landscape with a 2,000-year heritage in viticulture. The Wachau has classification categories for dry white wines by ripeness – Steinfeder (a maximum abv of 11.5%), Federspiel (maximum abv between 11.5 – 12.5 %), and Smaragd (at least 12.5% abv). The Weingut Knoll Riesling Smaragd enchants with intense, penetrating aromas of lemon peel, green herbs, and wet stone, carrying over to a lush, concentrated, and textured palate. Great power and intensity yet beautifully balanced.
