The 2021 Pechstein Forster Riesling Grosses Gewächs (a designation reserved for some of Germany’s finest vineyards for making dry white wines) is a crisp and mouthwatering example of German Riesling. It offers bright aromas and flavors of blossoming white flowers, lemon-lime, salted peach, and a hint of wet stone. With its fresh, fine acidity and seemingly endless finish, this wine is phenomenal now but has the energy and mineral tension to age beautifully for many years.
