Clarksburg is a bit of a California secret weapon for many varieties, but especially so for Chenin Blanc. Critics Challenge Judge Mike Dunne put it this way: “…respects the varietal profile without any effort to upstage it with any sort of manipulation.” I agree completely – apple, pear, soft spice and great acidity make for a wine that speaks to why there’s a bit of an uptick for Chenin Blanc of late in the marketplace. Keep it up! A Platinum Award winner at the 2020 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
