Wolf Blass, Langhorne Creek (South Australia, Australia) Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

 Its overall hue is as dark and purple as a shiny eggplant, and it has flavors of blue-black fruits, including blueberries, blackberries, and deep vermillion cherries.  On the palate it is rich, vibrant and nuanced with hints of eucalyptus and cedar, and it finishes with soft, juicy tannins.  Delicious now, it will undoubtedly evolve over the next decade or so, so drink it tonight or hang on to it for future enjoyment–either way, you won’t be disappointed.
