This might be ZD’s first release of this variety – they specialize in Cabernet Sauvignon (!) and Chardonnay – and of course it is worthy of its branding. It’s bright and zesty, featuring lime, lemon, lemongrass and wet stone aromas, and everything translates well on the palate and finishes crisply and harmoniously. I will be adding some of this to the cellar. A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
